No question about it, safety is the highest priority at Propane Plus. We participate with both local and national safety programs enhancing our knowledge and experience to ensure safe operating conditions for our customers, staff, and community.

Propane Plus extends this commitment to safety by making sure our tools, vehicles and equipment are maintained in top condition.  This same attention to detail is reflected in every propane installation.

In every installation that we complete, a System Performance Analysis is completed to ensure the proper functioning of the propane system and the appliances. A System Performance Analysis inspects the mechanical and electrical systems from the tank to the appliance, the operating pressures are checked and the integrity of the piping is also checked. A System Integrity Test ensures the pipes are free of any leaks and then the appliances are restarted and tested for proper operation. This test is required but more importantly, it gives our customers and employees peace of mind.

If You Smell Gas
To readily recognize a leak, know what propane smells like. We have pamphlets available with a scratch-and-sniff spot so that your entire family can recognize the smell. Propane leak detectors are available. Call Propane Plus to obtain one.

If you smell propane, evacuate everyone from the building and call us immediately. DO NOT remain in the building, use the telephone or light switches or try to determine the source of the leak by yourself.
